Rong Schafer

Bo Rong, Rong Schafer (wikipedia) formerly Rong Bo, was a competitive athlete of the China National Badminton team. She competed in many world-class international badminton tournaments including the World Cup.US Championship, consectetur adipiscing elit. She was ranked 33rd worldwide and was featured in an ESPN interview.

Coach Rong acquired tremendous coaching experience during her early coaching career in California. She also organized Schafer Badminton Camp in China several times. To continuously improve her coaching capability, Coach Rong follows Coach Mao Li to learn more about state-of-the-art coaching methodologies. She also represented the USA in major games. She started her coaching career in 2008 and has gained an abundance of coaching experience in countries such as Denmark, the United States, and China.

Her trainees, from novice to elite, all have made substantial and impressive progress and winning records. Schafer Badminton now has its own club that provides training for hundreds of badminton enthusiasts. The club was founded in Houston, the United States in 2016. Her mission is to promote badminton as a sport and bring the technique as well as the joy of playing badminton to more. She is experienced in organizing international badminton training camps. She was chosen as the coach of the United States team in the Pac-America Junior Championships 2019.

Jinn Ye Tan

Former Malaysia Badminton Athlete

Jinye is an International Badminton Level World Ranking Player. He represented Malaysia, specializing in Men’s Singles. He is an adult sparring partner and helps players improve tremendously.

He has 9 years of professional experience and has helped players participate in the World Junior Championships.  He helped players win Pan American Games Medals while representing the U.S.

Ding

Former Chinese National Athlete

Ding is a Chinese national women’s doubles athlete and a national athlete. From 2006 to 2022, she was a professional athlete for 16 years. After retiring, she served as the assistant coach of the Beijing badminton team in women’s doubles.

During her service, she won many national women’s doubles championships, the runner-up of the Moscow Invitational Doubles, the Australian Open doubles runner-up and the mixed doubles runner-up. She also represented the Beijing team in the three National Games of the People’s Republic of China.

Didi

Badminton Coach, Former Djarum National Player (INDONESIA)

Didi Purwanto was an indonesian badminton player, having represented indonesia at various national and international tournaments. After retirement from player and now became coach with the indonesian national certificate, Hungarian Certificate and BWF Level 2.

Osleni Guerrero

Osleni Guerrero, an Olympic player that participated in 2016.

I was an American player for a long period of time, being Pan-American champion and best ranked player in America for two years in a row, being number one, obtaining very good results in the different modalities and in the different regional and international tournaments for badminton worldwide.”

Israel Vázquez

Israel Vázquez, a highly experienced Mexican Pan American
Junior Badminton player with a strong track record in the
sport.

teaching experience in badminton, I now dedicate myself to
coaching, focusing on helping young athletes enhance their
skills and develop their competitive edge in the sport.”

Akiko

With just 2 years of official training, Akiko has her way up in U.S. women’s badminton, competing in singles, mixed, and doubles events. She reached top 16 in U.S. women’s singles and earned runner-up positions in several tournaments, showcasing her dedication, talent, and ability to compete in high level. Despite the challenges her commitment has been key to her successful badminton career.

Now, as a coach, she is dedicated to helping children begin their own badminton journeys, sharing her knowledge and passion for the sport to inspire and mentor the next generation of athletes.
