Rong Schafer
Head Coach, Former Chinese National Team Athlete
Bo Rong, Rong Schafer (wikipedia) formerly Rong Bo, was a competitive athlete of the China National Badminton team. She competed in many world-class international badminton tournaments including the World Cup.US Championship, consectetur adipiscing elit. She was ranked 33rd worldwide and was featured in an ESPN interview.
Jin Ye Tan
Former Malaysia Badminton Athlete
Jinye is an International Badminton Level World Ranking Player. He represented Malaysia, specializing in Men’s Singles.

In the recently concluded 2026 U.S. Junior National Team Selection, Vignan stood out and was successfully selected to represent Team USA 🇺🇸 at the 2026 Pan Am Junior Championships in Brazil 🇧🇷! 👏

Vignan has also become the first U13 player from Houston to be selected to the U.S. National Team, marking a historic breakthrough! 🔥
Historically, badminton in Houston started later compared to regions like California. However, we are no longer limited by that. With a more complete training system now in place, young athletes can begin structured training as early as age 4, building a strong foundation from the start.
This achievement is not only a personal milestone, but also a significant sign of the growth of Houston’s youth training system ❤️
