About Us
Schafer badminton academy is a social badminton club, where we teach, train and develop people. We are located in various parts of the state, giving opportunities to enthusiasts of the game from all walks of life to connect, learn and develop their skills.
Our academy is comprised of world class badminton players, offering exceptional coaching services to our trainees.
Our Story
As a team, our goal is to ensure badminton is encouraged and played across the world.
Schafer’s badminton is a student-focused badminton academy with numerous training facilities.
From inception, our progresses and successes over the years have enabled us to acquire and build up our own academy, where hundreds of students get trained. Our team of professionals are focused on ensuring every trainee is especially attended to, giving room for growth among trainees despite their numbers.
Schafer’s badminton academy is comprised of several ardent and world best badminton players, including; Xuehua Tang, Huimin Zheng, Mao Li and also Head coach Bo Rong, who is also the coach for the American National Junior Team. Coach Rong was a former member of the China national women’s single team. She trained with Xianhu Tang (Coach of Dan Lin, and former coach of China National Women’s Single Team).
Our Philosophy
Schafer’s badminton academy focuses on a philosophy built on teaching our trainees how to relate basic life principles in the game of badminton.
We adopt the most cutting-edge training method that provides our trainees with a balanced and comprehensive coverage of techniques and tactics. While traditional coaching focuses on repetitive drilling for beginners, our coaching emphasizes teaching a variety of techniques systematically. This approach helps our trainees to progress in a more effective manner.
